Santiago del Estero is in the Northern region of Argentina, being part of the great plain Chaco-Pampeana reaching up to the centre of the country. It´s usually mentioned "Región Chaqueña". This province is almost located in the Gran Chaco´s flatlands, with some depressions and lagoons crossed by The Dulce River that turn the area into a paradise for hunting.
